Our logo (left) and the prize for the best project logo (right).

During the Annual Conference of the South Baltic Programme which took place in Schwerin from November 28th to 29th, 2011 the winners of the Programme's on-line competition for the best project pictures, the best project logos, and the best project homepages were rewarded. We are overly pleased to have been awarded the first prize for the best project logo! As a gift, we received a beautiful hand-made glass plate showing the flag of the South Baltic Programme. The WebLab logo, a blue sailing boat that steers across oceanographic matrixes with ease, carries in fact exactly that EU flag on the tip of its mast. Congratulations to our partners from Klaipeda who designed the logo so successfully!
